May 01, 2015 – Ronal McDonald’s House

Once a month, I volunteer at the Ronald McDonald’s House(RMH) with the Inter Compassion Charities (ICC) group to cook and serve meals to families who are staying here. RMH in San Diego is a charity that provides help and support to low-income families who have children being treated with serious illnesses that require long-term treatments at the Rady’s Children Hospital (across the street from RHM). On the first Friday of each month, ICC members volunteer for Cook-A-Meal event to provide delicious home cook food. We make food from scratch and serve to families at RMH. The experience is always fun and special for me and the others. It was a pleasure to be there this evening. I want to share with you one photo that is presentative of the food that we serve and one photo of the members of ICC were present at May 2015 Cook-A-Meal.

Caring for a meal being served is a way of to show and pass on compassion.
